The Globe Illustrated Shakespeare: The Complete Works Annotated, edited by Howard Staunton, is a deluxe single-volume edition published by Greenwich House (distributed by Crown Publishers) in 1983.

This monumental edition gathers all of William Shakespeare’s plays, sonnets, and poems, accompanied by extensive annotations and commentary from major literary figures including Samuel Johnson and Samuel Taylor Coleridge. It is illustrated with classical engravings by Sir John Gilbert and Ray Abel, with additional engravings by the Dalziel brothers.
